A quick 10 minute shoot taken WHILE camping (if you can count a cabin as camping)....and having it turn out like this= HEAVEN! This is my beautiful sister. We decided to do a quick shoot since the lighting is always pretty in the mountain...and BOY am I glad we did! Enjoy!

I cannot believe that my baby is almost 4 months! We did a super fast session (like 15 minutes max) and got quite a few cute shots! She made it so easy for me! Love her!

So...I am running a KILLER special until August 31st...to help get my name out up here in northern utah. This deal is soooo killer that it will never happen again for this price. Here it is...for $50...yes $50....you will get 10 edited photos on a cd with the copyright. Here are the details:

-45 minute session
-1 location (I am located in Tooele, I will travel to Salt Lake city for an additional $10. Other locations possible with fee.)
-no more than 6 people in the session
-10 edited images with the copyright
-Must pay for session when booking the session date
-Session must be completed this year (does not have to be before August 31st...but must be booked and payed for by August 31st.)
-Once session is booked, it is non-refundable.
-I am willing to set tenative dates for sessions scheduled after August 31st, but they must be made firm 1 month before (except newborns...which will be tenative until the birth, then session must be made and set before newborn is 2 weeks old).

Thunderstorms

I love some good thunder and lightning. We were visiting my parents-in-law in Delta last night and were graced with this. My husband and father-in-law LOVE thunder and lightning and could watch it all day. We went out to the front law which was the perfect set-up for taking some lightning photos- a nice huge field for open view, hardly any street lights, and no obstructions of the view. My father-in-law and husband were so excited that I was able to catch some. Here they are! Doesn't this make you amazed at the beauty of our earth?

So...WOW!!! It's been forever! Our lives have been crazy the past couple of months, as I am sure a lot of yours have. It seems to come with nice weather. Ours craziness has been because we have MOVED! AGAIN! I know....we keep moving on ya! But, this time is for a long time. I promise!! But, when we moved, we moved to a different county. I will still be serving Salt Lake and Utah counties still, but now I can also add Tooele to the mix!!

I am finally back on my feet from the move and would love to get this blog rolling again! I may be thinking of some contests! I will post when I figure it out! Until then...here are some photos of my growing-up-way-too-fast girls!

to have married into such a BEAUTIFUL family! This is my husband's sister's family! Did ya follow that!? They are so incredibly gorgeous! Every single one of them! Not to mention they are some of the most well-behaved kids and some of the best parents I have ever known! Here are a few! I have about 40 REALLY great shots to go through! Isn't his smile so peaceful and sweet. I love newborns. This one happens to be my new nephew, Sean. The first nephew that I have ever had as a baby (if that makes sense). So funny story...my sister wanted to take pictures by this hippie van. So we were trying to figure out how she should stand when...this guy walked right into the picture. Funny thing is...he is TOTALLY a HIPPIE! We thought maybe it was his van...but...it wasn't! and don't have any new clients to post...I have to resort to editing pictures of some beautiful people that you've already seen before. I have both children sleeping...(rare occasion to occur at the same time)...and I have some new editing techniques that I am trying out! So here is one!

I'm diggin' it! However...I would appreciate blogger not MUTING my colors!!! It's way more poppish than this..but oh well! I still like it!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!

Okay...so I know I said that I would be starting up again in August...HOWEVER...let me explain what has gone on in my life since I have taken a break!
*I had this sweet baby girl....

*Almost two weeks later my husband learned that he got his career job (YAY!!!!)...and he would be starting in 1 1/2 weeks from that day!! Talk about scrambling!!
*1 weeks after that he finalized his degree!
*3 days after that...he started his job and we looked for places to live!
*1 week after that I packed up our belongings while he worked for the week! 2 kids packing...by myself= NOT FUN! But we survived and moved that weekend!
*1 week after moving.....we were back down in Southern Utah blessing this sweet little girl!

*1 week later and here we are! Our first Saturday off since our baby was born! It has been pure chaos but a very fun and exciting time in our lives! We are starting to settle down which means I will be starting up in a little while taking pictures again! HOWEVER...I AM NO LONGER IN SOUTHERN UTAH! I am now located in SALT LAKE COUNTY!! I will be making trips down to southern utah occassionally...so please still email me if you are interested! I love this family! However...I just have the children preview...even though Shaylee really isn't a child! ;0) This girl has been faithful nail client of mine, along with her mom (yes, I do nails too). They have grown to be such good friends! We had quite the adventure at this shoot considering my camera bag was stolen along with my external flash...but...at least they didn't get my camera!! This is my friend's little boy who is just 2 weeks old! He (like my past few newborns) was AMAZING! He didn't even cry and I was bending and folding him like no other! Just two for now! I am sure I will be posting more later! Enjoy!!

All sessions are $100 (excluding family photos with more than 6 people). This includes the session fee, any locations in Cedar, as many wardrobe changes as you want, and 10 edited photos that I put on a CD for you and give you the copyright. Having the copyright means that you can print these pictures however you want, wherever you want, and how many times you would like (making it perfect for giving a photo to EVERYONE in the family!!). You may also purchase all of the photos that I take(unedited) for only $50 more!! Email me if you are interested!

This was the fastest shoot in history! It was FREEZING...and the poor baby had to endure! However, he was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! He smiled the ENTIRE time...making it a super fast shoot!

Wedding Preview!

On December 13th, I was able to photograph a wedding at the Salt Lake Temple. The day looked as though we weren't going to be able to take many pictures because that was the major blizzard/snow day for Salt Lake...but just about the time they were married, the snow lightened to just a little flurry! It made the temple grounds soooo beautiful! I had to post a picture for everyone to see how cool the snow made the pictures! They froze to death...but I think it will be worth it in the end for all of the awesome pictures we got!!! ;0)
